Dreams Travel, Inc., is a Florida registered seller of travel.
We are a full service travel agency, but specialize in dive
travel. How did we get in to this line of work? Well, it goes
like this: Gene (the president of Aqua Dreams Travel, Inc.)
started diving some 30 (plus) years ago out on Catalina Island
in California. Terri (the vice-president of Aqua Dreams Travel,
Inc. and the real boss of the company and family) started
diving several years ago after she saw Gene go out for a night
dive with another person of the opposite sex. Unfortunately,
Terri was left behind on the beach with several adolescent
daughters watching a "native" show. Well, Terri
was certified a month later (in the snow in a Wisconsin lake!)
and has been diving ever since.
When we booked our first trip out of the country, we just
couldn't find a travel agency that knew about diving. The
big dive wholesale companies had some good prices and could
get you anyplace, but you just couldn't talk to folks about
diving! Well, we decided to set up shop and specialize in
small resorts, small boats and low prices. We love diving
and like giving personal attention. Raising a family and taking
several dive vacations a year has taught us to look for really
good values.  That
is not to say that we can't get you in to that special resort
because they are great too!! But, we personally prefer smaller
properties that have a comfortable feel where your vacation
home "feels' like home. Properties like the Villablanca
in Cozumel, Anse Chastanet in St. Lucia are some of the several
"homes" we like to visit.
We both love diving and exploring the Caribbean. Over the
past several years, though, our friends in the Caribbean and
Central America have shown us some of the beautiful above
water attractions in addition to outstanding diving. As wonderful
as it is hovering by a wall at 60 feet and having 5 eagle
rays swim past then come back to check you out, it is also
pretty amazing to see wild toucans land in a tree in front
of you while having breakfast in the rainforest.
The Caribbean and Central America have so much to offer above
and below the water. Aqua Dreams Travel would thoroughly enjoy
the opportunity to help you explore the reefs and rainforests
of the Caribbean.
