On Grand Cayman, diving the West Wall is just steps away. In addition, the North Wall and Sting Ray City are not to be missed. Also Grand Cayman offers very good shore diving.

The more remote islands offer Bloody Bay Wall, which is located off Little Cayman, is accessible from Cayman Brac as well. Good air service is available from many cities.

Getting There:

Grand Cayman has very good air service with Cayman Airways, Air Jamaica, American, Northwest, Delta and others. Cayman Airways provides continuing service to the outer islands.

Getting Around:

Taxis are available, though, many major car rental companies are available for weekly or daily rates. Remember, drive on the LEFT!!!

Language and Culture:

The Cayman Islands are a British Crown Colony well known for its off-shore banking industry. The language is English.

Entry Requirements:

U.S and Canadian citizens require a passport or other proof of citizenship with a photo I.D. Passports and return tickets are required for all others.

Climate:

The average summer temperature is 80 degrees, dropping to 75 degrees in the winter.

Currency/Credit Cards:

The local currency is the Cayman Dollar, which is equivalent to $1.25 USD. Most major credit cards are readily accepted.
