The
average Caribbean Liveaboard Dive Vacation consists of
7 nights aboard a vessel which makes diving a breeze!
You wake up, go to breakfast, then to the briefing area
where they let you know what dive site you will be diving
and what to expect. Next you walk to where your gear is
all set up, put it on and fall off the back of the boat!
On return to the boat you are able to take a hot shower
on the back of the deck, handed a warm towel to dry off
with and then it is snack time! After a surface interval
you go put your gear on again and fall into the water
again for a second dive. On the return, another warm towel
and now it is lunch time! During lunch, the boat will
probably move to the afternoon and night dives. After
lunch you go to the briefing area for the afternoon dives,
put on your gear and fall off the back for your dive.
On return from this dive it is snack time again and a
surface interval and then the 2nd afternoon dive. After
this is dinner and then finally the night dive. This cycle
continues for about 5 ½ days of diving and then
return to the dock for your final evening where dinner
may or may not be included in the price. All meals and
snacks (except on some boats where the final Friday evening
dinner is not included), local alcoholic beverages, most
boats include transfers to the boat on arrival and departure
days.
On Pacific trips normally the diving is the a bit different,
and usually done from a skiff.
