The
Mango Inn, located on Utila in the Bay Islands of
Honduras Central America, was built with the atmosphere
and feeling of the  Western Caribbean in
mind. We constructed the hotel entirely from wood
with large airy rooms and huge porches, where guests
can swing in hammocks and watch the day go by.
The hotel is set in a classic Caribbean garden with
coconut, canup, breadfruit, craboo, banana, lime and
of course mango trees all about. Take a look around
the site and then come and join us in the Mango Garden!
Accommodations
At the Mango Inn we offer four types of rooms designed
for the budget of every visitor. Never wanting to
lose our sense of fun and adventure we offer shared
rooms for the budget traveler and cabins for our resort
guests. Please follow the links to the right for expanded
information on all our accommodations. Review the
rates below to quickly choose what room best fits
your budget but whatever room you choose, we're sure
your stay with us will be remembered for a lifetime.
Deluxe Cabin
These luxurious cabins were completed in October 2003
and are by far the most charming and luxurious choice
of accommodation in The Mango Inn. Separated from
the main building of the hotel, each cabin has:

The glazed terracotta tile bathrooms are fitted with
vanity units. You will find a fantastic view from
the large private balcony overlooking the beautifully
landscaped tropical gardens and fun filled pool
Standard Cabin
Our standard cabins also boast the same amenities
as the Deluxe rooms and are located at ground level
in the tropical gardens of the hotel. Separated from
the main building of the hotel, each cabin has:

spacious private porch
These cabins are ideal for relaxing after a day of
diving in Utila or other non-diving activities on
the island
Deluxe Room
Our deluxe rooms provide the same comfort than the
standard cabins, but they are located on the two floors
of the main building and have a big communal porch
where you can swing your hammock and watch the day
go by. Each deluxe room has:

Our deluxe rooms are a very good compromise between
the cabins and the standard rooms.
Standard Room
Our standard rooms are located in the main building
and they are meant for the guest who likes a private
bath but doesn't mind a communal porch and atmosphere.
Located on the two floors of the main building of
the hotel, each standard room has:

double and 1 single bed

With all the comfort to make your stay enjoylable,
these rooms are ideal and a great deal for a small
budget
Mango Cottage
The Mango Cottage is right next door to the Mango-Inn
and has access to the pool and restaurant, it features:

The Mango Cottage is ideal for the family traveler,
a dive club trip, or that secret romantic diving hide-a-way
for two. It's right in the heart of town and with
a short lighted walk to all the nightclubs, restaurants,
shopping, and diving you could ever want.
Restaurant
Our restaurant and bar, The Café Mango, is
situated in the same tropical gardens as the Hotel
itself, creating the most pleasant and peaceful surroundings
to complement the exquisite cuisine. Food is served
all day from breakfast to dinner to satisfy the needs
of all our customers.
You can select from the vast menu of seafood, meats
and vegetarian dishes or choose one of our famous
brick oven pizzas, freshly made on the premises by
our resident Italian chef. The daily specials and
fine imported wines attract clientele from all over
the island for relaxing lunches or candle lit dinners.
Diving
Utila Dive Centre offers quality diving courses and
accommodation with the best prices in the world. With
an unmatched friendly and professional staff, Utila
Dive Centre guarantees you the best time both in and
out of the water.
To ensure our customers with great service and satisfaction,
Utila Dive Centre maintains a fleet of 4 diving vessels.
All boats are equipped with all safety equipment and
are yearly inspected by the Marina Mercantile de Honduras.
As a Diving Alert Network member and sponsor, as well
as a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resort and Career  Development
Center, Utila Dive Centre reinforces the diving safety
and the diving standard and procedures.
Utila offers a wonderful variety for underwater adventurers.
The reefs are packed with life and the corals are
in pristine condition. It is not uncommon for divers
to play with manta rays, swim with dolphins and gasp
with wonder as the biggest fish in the sea, the incredible
whaleshark, goes by.
The diving around Utila has rightly become legendary
amongst divers who like to break away from the "production
line" diving which is unfortunately now becoming
the norm in an ever more popular Caribbean. Things
tend to move at a relaxed pace in the Bay Islands
and in particular on Utila. Dive boats are rarely
crowded and dive sites are strictly limited to one
dive boat per buoy. You will never experience the
feeling that there are more divers than fishes!
